So what if you’re alone right now. Embrace it. Go get coffee alone. Shop alone. Drive alone. Watch movies alone. Get to know yourself. Nothing bad can come from riding whatever wave to self improvement you’re blessed with in the moment.

Helpful tip for any heartbroken followers or those plagued by bad memories:

I have found that if you hear a song or watch a movie that reminds you of someone or something upsetting, the best way to get past that feeling is to literally play that particular thing so much that you kinda de-sensitive from the feelings and remember how much you liked that band or movie in general. If you hear a song and are automatically overcome with feelings, don’t try to hide them. Cry it out or release your anger the first time you play the song through, and allow yourself to feel those emotions. Then play the song again after you’ve stopped crying. Then play it again. And again. 4 times in a row (all at once, not once a day for 4 days) and by the time you play it the 4th time you will have worked through your emotions and will associate the song with their particular sound or skills rather than the previous upsetting connotations to upsetting people or memories.
